    it doesnt its just a temporary fix and at 39 and 2 arms full of scars .. you can take my word on that.

    Yup, cutting only anesthetizes, and that only for a short time...I used to cut every time my wife shouted at me, and that was pretty much daily. Yay for divorcing.

    It's an opiate addiction of sorts. It gives you a shot of endorphins. So suddenly you feel calm, and happy and normal. I know it very well.

    The challenge is to get treatment such that the reason you cut in the first place-sadness, anger, or anxiety-aren't so overwhelming...and you have a general background of happiness.
    Happiness, even with medication to assist, is really hard work, and you can expect it to take a couple of years.

    Well, ripping a good far... oh, you said "cutting". You can cut f*rts, too. Hope you weren't talking about cutting your wrists or something. Get some spite, and keep living. It'll **** 'em off.

    Instead of feeling the emotional pain, cutting maje you feel a differeent kind of pain and in a wierd psycological way it helps release stress

    no cutting doesn't make everything feel better it just seems that way cutting yourself is wrong you shouldn't do it if you are please get help

    It doesn't make everything better. It can help you instantly but in the long haul it will not benefit you. It is more of a relief from the pain in the moment.
