Why does Donald Duck wrap a towel around himself yet u never see him wear pants? What's up with that?

believe it or not it was a modesty clause in films way back when. They could accept the character as is in a normal setting in other words san clothes. But everyone knows you take a shower naked, so the implication is they must be naked when leaving the shower so there for since you can not have nudity or implied nudity they had to cover up for the censors. It did not make much sense but that is the reason for the coverup.

idk but why does goofy get to talk & wear clothes & walk on 2 legs but pluto cant? i mean hell they're both dogs, what makes goofy more important than pluto?

He doesn't wrap up in a towel to hide his male duck parts, but to keep from dripping water on the floor. Even cartoon ducks don't want to ruin their carpet

Hahahaha....great observation.....so many things about cartoons just don't make sense.....I guess that's one of them.

Lol a lot of cartoon characters seem to do that: never wear clothes but then when they get out of a bath or something they wrap a towel around themselves. It's funny, lol.
