Why does he want a break? He tells me he misses me but why are we still on break?

don't trust the 'i miss you'.
we'll all go through a phase when a relationship if over and feel as though we miss a person, whether they are good for us, bad for us, or just not right for us... missing will occur. you've got to give it more time to figure out if you two truly miss one another and should be back together, or if it's the 'oh no, have i made a mistake?' or 'oh no, now i have to be alone and i'm scared.' give the break more time. and breaks are kind of retarded anywho. it takes a real breakup to find out what's what with the relationship you two had.
i broke up with my current boyfriend a year after we were together. we were apart for another year and didnt speak, then became close friends again. we dated a little bit and realized we still had chemistry, but we gave it a whole other year (two years total) before we decided to get back together. and now we're going on two years together, which makes it three total. :) those breaks really do tell.

they are right....he wants to sleep with other women without feeling guilty. and when there aren't any other women around, he wants to sleep with you.
the sooner you cut your losses the sooner you can find someone worthy of you. I know that's easier said than done...but trust me, you'll be better off!
