I went to school with a guy who was raised by his mother & his aunts...his affectations were quite feminine, yet he had a steady girlfriend who he later married and they have been together for many years.
I'm much more masculine appearing than he is, and I'm married to a woman...but I've been with a lot more men than women in my lifetime.
The old saying is true..."You can't judge a book by its cover".

They feel threatened by behavior that goes against what society says is appropriate for that gender, so they pigeonhole it the only way they know how.

They are gay. And what would it matter? Poo punchers are sickening. Think about it. Gay isn't as nice as what they actually do.

Films and television perpetuate the stereotype, so I'm in agreement with dsalter.
