Because they don't fight back. It's the moral job of strong people to protect the meek, sensitive people, but instead, they say dumbass things like how if people are stupid or can't stand up for themselves, they DESERVE what they go through.<br />
Strong bullies exist, strong non-bullies, and meek people. It's a cycle of pain, and nobody cares except for people who take the totally wrong path around it.<br />
People who are truly nice are generally people who can't stand to cause harm to another person, and they assume everybody else is as good of a person as they are, so they're baffled when others do rotten things to them and they don't really know how to react. Idiots need to learn that this is the way things work, and they should stop calling suicidal people "selfish".
