Why does my laptop cursor keep moving when I'm typing?

This is driving me crazy. I start typing and click on the cursor in the place where I want to type. It's so annoying because I can be typing away and all of a sudden the cursor seems to fly elsewhere on the page or goes backwards and I end up typing in the middle of previous text! Aghhhh

    My fingers hit the mouse pad and this happens to me all the time, if you have a laptop this will happen.

    I don't think your cursor agrees with what your writing, therefore, it has decided to run away from you and your words.

    Maybe u need a sturdier place to hold your laptop?
