Why does my step mum dress me the same as her daughter who is 11 I am 16.

I even have to wear big pants and a vest my long hair has been cut to a short bob.My step mum says I am to get it cut even shorter for the summer a short back and sides thats boy short but why.
my friends are all dressed trendy I look like a 11yr old.The boys dont date me anymore.

Harsh No boy going to have any thing to do with me I will probably end up with shorter hair than them it sucks just someone to laugh at.

Eeeek. She's sooooo insensitive. Could you not implore your father to step in on your behalf. At 16 you should be getting WAY more say in how you look. Tell her, if this is the new family uniform, she should be wearing it too.

You need help. Maybe a close friend that could keep some spare clothing for you to change into once you're out of sight.

Step-moms are usually evil... at least mine was but mine couldn't make me do what she wanted me to do I fought that I also brought my dad into it. I ended up moving back in with my rotten mother til I was 17 then moved out on my own. But don't do what I did try talking to both her and your dad at the same time about how you feel it may make a difference!

My dad said that Jane my stepmum knows best and lots of girls have short hair and why do I want to wear scanty pants.He looks at me as his little girl.

Look at it this way you only have 2 yrs to go till you can decide how you want your hair to be cut.I would appease her and act like you love your hair cut and something tells me she will go the other direction next time.
