its populary told william henry harrison died from pneumonia from being out in the cold too long while doing a speech . how does the cold and rain directly trigger pneumonia ? does cold air cause lung infalammations? i remember readin an article on the dailymail where nurses got fired because they left a patient out in the rain and he got pneumonia and died ..

It doesn't. Virus's make you sick not weather. Unless your talking more than the body can handle then its a reaction like heat stroke

my understanding is...it doesn't..it can come from influenza..which isn't from the cold or rain...it's viral and bacterial.

no..but i'm thinking..maybe the cold and rain lowers your immune system to fight of the influenza. I bet the Eskimos aren't high on the percentage list.
