Why does the Guinness World Records have a record for world largest person? It's just unhealthy :(

It leads to further negativity and incites ridicule and cruelty so why do they bother plus the person receiving the accolade is putting their body under immense stress just to receive some recognition that isn't going to really pain them in a good light so why do they do it to themselves and their loved ones? :(

    Yeah I suppose. I am in no way mocking overweight people but I just feel as though they should not be glamourising this serious medical condition :( it's not as if for example they have a category for most killings done by one psychopath or whatever. I know it's hardly comparative, but I just feel as though it doesn't do much to help the situation, bringing so much scrutiny and attention to them when they are already so vulnerable :(
