Why does the west not intervene in Zimbarwa he is starving his own people or is it because there is no oil?

Well in Burma the people are brutalized by the Myanmar military. STudents, teachers & monks go to jail for 7 years to life sentences for demonstrating. Writers go to jail for doing stories about the government oppression. People are harrassed & executed, universities shut down, it's illegal to own an 'unregistered fax machine' - all are punishable by jail & death.

I think A. The west doesn't have the resources to intervene for EVERYONE. and B. Our government can sometimes be as awful as any other government & it's actions obviously boil down to $, $, $. *sigh* it's really sad sometimes....
