Why does ya best friend deserve this title & how long have u been friend's?

Because she gave me a place in the world where I belonged just as I am, she always found value in me as a person, she loved my children, she introduced me to new and exciting things like kayaking, she celebrated all of my successes and joys, she comforted me through all of the rough times, she stood up for me whenever I needed someone to and she made every single day the best it could be for me for 20 years. She was my very BEST FRIEND and when her daughter in law told her grandchildren that I was Grandma's very best friend of her lifetime it was the nicest thing anyone has ever said about me. My best friend passed away this last June.. and she is still and forever the very best friend of my lifetime, Cheri. I was so blessed to have her in my life.

We met when we were 11. We're almost 50 now...:O)

I've known my current best friend for 6 1/2 yrs. She listens to me when I need to ***** about something and I do the same for her. Our son's are best friends as well.

we've been best friends since we met 17 years ago. she has stuck with me through thick and thin. she has covered my *** so many times, especially when we were younger. she is always there to talk, no matter what time, helps when i need help, a shoulder, a rock. she is not my best friend, she is my sister- we are so close. and i am so thankful for her. i don't know what i would do with out her...

It's been more than 15 years now.

We sat next to each other in science class in 11th grade. We would share the walkman headphones and copy out lyrics together (our favorite was "Something I Can Never Have" by NIN). I would go home with her on the bus and we'd take naps, curled up together in her soft, warm bed.

We were both raised in the same religious cult and we both left.

There is never a need to hide a thing from one another. We are very much alike in thinking and have similar temperaments. My most mortifying secrets have been shared with her. We fell out of touch for a few years and when we found one another again it was like no time had passed.

We've been through a lot together. I believe we'll have one another until one of us dies.

We met when we were 6, we are now 28. I was the new girl in school, I was scared, and she took my hand and told me she would be my friend. She still does that now when I need her. That is why she is my best friend.

we met in 1983 when i need her to help she does and when she needs me id .we have been thru marriages births deaths illness every known problem were are just there for each other...
