What about Bank Holidays? How many are there? Aren't they national holidays?
I'm trying to think how many holidays we have here in the US. Thing is, even Federal Holidays need only be observed by Federal offices, banks, and things like that. State governments can ignore them. Christmas, New Year's, Memorial Day, Labor Day, President's Day, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, and Martin Luther King Day are the ones that come to mind for Federal Holidays.
