Why don't any of the television networks show Looney Toons anymore?

After finally getting getting satellite tv, about 6 years ago, I was happy to discover that the cartoon network channel, Boomeramg, was where I could get my fill of Bugs and the gang. Then without warning, they stopped showing them . Why? I want them back!

i know, it sucks. probably because they're deemed politically incorrect now days. you can find them in dvd sets though, how i watch my favorite Sylvester the cat episodes. :)

robyn	Posted Aug 24th, 2009 at 7:36AM probably because it's considered violent nowadays. my grandkids bawled when Bugs Bunny clobbered Yosemite Sam. they're used to gentle, learning (boring) cartoons instead of pure entertainment. Rated: +1Vote for this!

Comprehensive2	Posted Aug 25th, 2009 at 1:15AM It is a sign of the techno times. The media is trying to appeal to the new generation of anime', computer generation, and robotics. The old time cartoons are not in the running anymore. BUT, what I did was I bought the Bugs Bunny, Jonny Quest, Pink Panther, Scooby Doo, and Herculoids movies and I watch them on Saturday mornings just like in the "old" days. Rated: +1Vote for this!
