The target consumer is someone who wants a portable computer and access to th internet. Disk Drives (and CD/DVD drives) have motors which use up a lot of power the disk keeps spinning even if you are not reading or writing). The flash drives use up no power unless you are reading or writing to them. So it increases battery life. Flash drives are also faster (which helps make up for the slower processor and smaller amount of memory).

I didn't realise that that computer had places for 5 flash drives; but from my moderate knowledge of computers, I would presume that you could use all 5 at once, as they will be designated by different drive letters. You might have to think carefully which one to use in any particular instance, so you did not misplace files!

The computer has small size and weight and battery requirements to recommend it; but other factors like unavailability of a CD drive (which you could add on), and probably limited graphics capabilty, make it rather a "special purpose" computer. Also the screen is very small, and I think the Operating System is Linux? That might be a problem for file compatibility. Good for not getting viruses, though.
