Why don't guys ever approach me?
I've been told that I'm cute, or pretty on multiple occasions. But... All I get are stares, and glances. They don't approach me, or wave, or talk to me. And I don't like making the first move, because honestly, guys in general intimidate me. Can anyone help me pinpoint what exactly is wrong with me? (Am now seventeen and never done anything more intimate with a guy than hugging.)

I ask myself that about girls all the time. You can go to a bar if you really need that satisfaction. What goes through my head is. "Oh that girl is pretty cute, I wish I wasn't such a ***** about approaching girls." I normally feel like they just wouldn't be interested, but idk? Don't go out with friends much to get that kind of feedback.

They probably think they are out of your league, I find it difficult to approach girls that I think might reject me. You should try being friendly with them and if they seem interested then make the first move.

if u go 2 college, then u can make the first move...i'm actually pretty shy and i appreciate when a woman says she's interested....most guys, including myself, hate rejection...lol
