They are there to sell papers not tell the truth
When was the last time you read anything truthful from a paper
Our constitution says free press, not owned press; and for good reason. Main sources of news should be non-profit and independently regulated to insure they remain ethical, unbiased, and represent the truth. This needs to be changed for obvious reason's.
Newspapers always get things wrong anyway. I have been involved in a few events that jhave been subsequently reported on the media - soimetimes it seemed like I was at a different occasion. Its either mistakes, sloppy reporting or just 'spicing it up' to sell papers.
Interesting to note that almost all the answers to this Q (including mine) are cynical! Just an observation...........
Actually, a lot of what is written in papers is very truthful. We have a few left that are not owned by the mass conglomerates that own our tv news. But, I don't think it is found on the front pages as much as deeper in. Also, if one reads enough other things, we can read between the lines. A lot of what we see is bs. Smoke screen. etc. Always has been, if we study our history. But that does not mean that one should simply ignore them, but it doesn't hurt to know who owns the paper you are reading and what kind of policy they are or are not promoting.
Because the devil's new world order won't allow that. If the truth would be published on massive scale we would be in an armed rebellion tomorrow. Thus mainstream media is corrupted propoganda pushers.
Who wants to know that?
cause they wantto catch your attention and make their stories seem interesting.
Some try to, others are just propaganda pushers
No one else does, why would they?
