    I wouldn't say that you *need* a physical bond to have a close relationship with the opposite sex -- it's just that the stronger the relationship becomes and the closer two people become, more often than not if they find each other attractive it becomes harder for one or both of them to just remain friends.

    Plantonic is a great word! ;)
    What makes you feel they don't? They just don't publish everything they're thinking. Anyway physical contact is nice when you are alive.
