Why don't people know how to spell? !!!

I just saw "matter" misspelled as "madder," seriously?! Plus the whole "to" vs. "two" vs. "too"; "their", "there", "they're" thing? Honestly, how can people grow to adulthood and NEVER LEARN?

In school these days there's not so much stress placed on spelling and grammar

Seriously..It's like what's the madder with them?? Spelling's not two hard, you know..Their being ridiculous and don't seem too learn. There work sometimes looks like a to year old did it.

some times it 's a typo.some times englih was very hard in school.some times ppl had to go to work instead of school.some times it's vicious teachers.instead of being taught and helped i was whipped by the nuns.dysfunctional family to boot.so before you put down on ppl ,thank god you had it all and things were easy for you!!

Why do you care? How do you know its not typos?

Honestly, how can people grow to adulthood and remain so petty over such piffling minutae?

Have you never met a dyslexic? Do you really think less of someone because they are unable to spell consistently without help?

Dyslexia is different, it is also fairly and understandable. Typos on the occasion are also understandable. But the fact that very, very basic spelling rules are never learned by MOST people? It's annoying, to put it lightly.

i don't understand why it is /so/ annoying. mildly irritating or confusing at best... it does no actual harm to anything other than their ability to communicate with others.
