Why don't plants collect sunlight reflected off the moon at night?

They do, but the reflection off the moon does not reflect all of the sun's rays, various types of light are absorbed- the moon looks white, not yellow. Moonflowers open in the moonlight- they respond to the moon. But most flowers turn to face the sun as it moves from east to west.

They do. Ever heard of night-blooming flowers? And I have heard you should plant potatoes at night, during certain phases of the moon.

from memory they dont photosynthesise at night and produce carbon dioxide instead of oxygen. this may explain why people feel more tired at night too as the CO2 levels are higher

I think you are wrong I never heard or read that before , Plants making CO2 and SOME people are tired because they were active during the day and their body tells them its time to shut down after dark , Of course true EPers are the exception to this rule we never sleepLike (1)

Because there are not enough ultraviolet rays for them to collect.
