because not everybody likes the same kinds of ethnic foods--it's more of a specialized preference. an ethnic restaurant may not survive or thrive unless they are in an area which is populated enough to provide sufficient clientele.

Exactly, I was thinking the same thing. I'd love to go somewhere other than fast food, or bbq. I have italian, and tex-mex, and chinese, but I want Homecooked food, of all kinds.
