Why don't we humans learned from our mistakes?

Sometimes we have to make the same mistake over several times and be smack in the face with the negative outcome again and again before we learn that it's a mistake!!

Sadly tho, some people never learn from their mistakes. I don't know why.. stubborn maybe? Lack of self respect? Lack of self esteem? never given the chance to know how good life can be so they just keep repeating what they know? I think some may want to do right, but just lack the skills to learn how.

We always think we are smarter than those who came before us. We take the technical knowledge and none of the applied moral knowledge. Same reason kids do not learn from adults, we just do not want to listen and we want to do things our way and do not believe that what happened to them will happen to us. Basicly we are self-serving individuals.

It's called stupidity...doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result...it could also just be called laziness...I'll let you decide.
Zebunomicon- Let he who is without sin cast the first stone...My version- let he who is perfect (grammer or otherwise) call out and embarrass others... ay? That was really mean and unnecessary wasn't it?

Humans like to believe that they can do the same actions and have a different outcome than others did in the past.

Well sometimes we do but other times we are just plain idiots :) ( and of course circumstances and other things that need to be taken into account change )

I think we do learn from our mistakes, just not every mistake we make.
And when we do learn, it sometimes takes us a lot of mistakes before we learn not to make that mistake

You made a mistake misinterpreting my supportive answer to another of your questions [every other answer mocked you whereas I showed respect], and when I attempted to reconcile the misunderstanding you immediately jumped into swearing insulting mode. What did that get you? A swearing insult in return! Did YOU learn anything from your mistake?
And I see you still can't spell; seldom has an EPer demonstrated the gargantuan ignorance you do [can you say gar...gan..tuan?].
