So why when technology is becoming increasingly desirable, is there little desire to work in IT, especially for women ?

    Im a geek, I guess alot of women are not "geeks" because alot of guys over look girls like that, But I also know alot of girls who are geeks and I suppose you wouldnt know that just by looking at them?

    Not sure. I have only met one or two. Guys get into it at a younger age because of game/video playing and that leads them into IT -- at least, that is what I heard.

    Because women know they can usually fall back on their looks?
    Its not to say there aren't exceptions, I know plenty of women who are geeks and still are beautiful
