I had to Google the lyrics - The Monkees? Who knew the lads were political? Every kid I knew growing up sang Monkees songs; did we even know?

Yes, there was more to some of the those songs than met the eye (by children, anyway). Like their song "Zor and Zam" which concludes with the lyrics "Two little kings playing a game They gave a war and nobody came..." Pretty heavy stuff for the Vietnam era. ;)
