Resolved Question

If you aint married you're single! Call it old fashioned or whatever else but why should you get upset with someone who has not made the choice to publicly acknowledge the relationship as a committed relationship by marrying you. Yeah I know, married people cheat too, but that's okay then for the partner to get upset because this person has broken a private and public vow . . . But if this person aint made a vow to you in private and in public among family and friends then it's leaving too much room in there for ambiguity . . . . that's just my opinion take it or leave it . . .

I think it depends upon who you are and how you feel.
Marriage is not the only commitment one can have.
If I have made a personal commitment to someone, whether announced or not, I feel a personal obligation to live up to it. This is nothing that has been forced upon me, but rather a choice I have made.
To me, that is the only type of commitment worth having.
