Why hate low prices?

depends on how they got so low. If someone else is suffering so you can buy things cheap, that would be a reason to hate the situation.

I agree with Emerald. The only downside I can possibly see is that they're achieved by exploiting cheap labour in the third world. On the other hand, if prices were higher I couldn't buy stuff.

It depends if I'm the buyer or the seller.

Because it makes it difficult for American small business to compete in the American market place. This then causes a vicious cycle resulting in big business moving jobs offshore in order to be able to remain competitive.

Stores that sell products for a significantly lower prices are able to do so for several reasons. For the sake of an example I will say the store in question is xyz-mart and everyone starts buying only from them. xyz-mart purchases all their products from sweatshops overseas cutting their costs in half. For this reason they can easily sell the products we all need far cheaper than any other store.
The other store charges more for the products they sell because they pay more for them to begin with. They cost more because the factories they purchase from (in USA) follow wage laws and pay their employees much higher wages. When everyone buys cheaper from xyz-mart the other store looses so much money their company goes under taking the 200,000 jobs in the USA with them. That causes our whole economy to come crashing down. this is just one reason,

I don't hate it. I think they should make them even higher. Gas/Petrol prices are high for a reason....
