Why in the world would something like hell exist?

picky you've done it again. I might have talked about this before so stop me if you've heard this.

Duality is a mechanism for mortal understanding.
Look at the universe. Its incredible. Beyond any mortal imagination. Would a creator that created the universe have wasted time on something so banal and mundane as hell?

sometimes we don't see the forest for the trees and we make crap up. I live in the forest.

theologian	Posted Sep 7th, 2009 at 5:22PM I'll go with theonewhoflys - where there is good there is also evil - we think through opposites - contrast - I imagine black as compared to white - without other colors - there would be no black. humans have a need to reward good and punish evil - it feels so good to imagine your oppressors roasting over a fire pit, and yourself sitting on a cloud. where ever there is enmity - the local religion will reflect that - some in compassion others with hatred - and in the case of christians, damnation to hell. Waiwera	Posted Sep 7th, 2009 at 5:30PM This is a world of Duality, so everything has its opposite. But I don't believe in Hell as a place, but a frame of mind (which in the Dimensions may create a seeming Hell-world, as matter is very sensitive to thought in those realms). Rated: +1Vote for this!

It's not a place where I'd want to go! So I put my faith into Jesus that he decended down into hell to locks it's doors for me!!! Rated: +1Vote for this!
