We have been close since Day One when I was 8 and he was 11. We have been best friends, nothing more or less, for 30 years with an absence from each others' lives of nearly 15 years. We have never been initimate, yet ever since high school, there always have been rumors on and off about us. *sigh*

Now, my 8th grader daughter's best friend since 2nd grade is a boy. And my 10 years old son's best friend since toddler is a girl. They are going to experience this type of stuff. :/
