Why is it men get attitudes when you are married to them, but if you are dating them they are nice as can be?

Having been married to one man for 37 years, having watched my parent's successful marriage for 58 years, and being an observer of life, I think the reason men change after marriage is because women change. Romance is a two way street. Men are generally clueless about romance unless coached by a woman; and while they are dating, they usually have a coach (sister, mom, friend) who reminds them about the flowers and candy stuff.
The bloom of new love CANNOT last forever unless BOTH of you work on it daily. My dad often said my mom could make him lonely just by leaving the room. He patted her fanny way up into his nineties...and believe it or not, they still had an active sex life until he was 94 years old!!!!! My husband is 83, and SO DO WE!! We work on it every day. I tell him how much I love him all the time...how lucky I am to have him.
As they say, "What goes around comes around" - good and bad.Like (2)

They put on a good show with all the song and dance that goes with it. Until they get what they want. Then the truth shows. If I would have known the true him I wouldn't be married. I wish they would just be themselves.

Not all men. We all grow and change with time and some people are slower at adapting than others.
