Habits are hard to break, whether psychological or physically addicted, it takes the will to change the behavior. It takes about a month to change habits, but the will do so takes more than that. One day at a time is a good way to start. Don't look at the big picture, just the unit of days helps.
I know from experience, habits are very hard to break.Like (3)

It has taken the form of maximum dependence and you haven't chosen/decided to let it go, from your innermost being.

The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. Old tradition, but still relevant in these times where everything is allowed and where you can find everything!

Because there is a certain amount of addiction one has to overcome and the fear that bounds us to that addiction. It is never easy but there is always hope.

I guess it depends on what it is. It is hard to give up instant gratification if it's what you are craving at the time. It's also hard to break a habit or an addiction.
Longterm effects are hard to take as seriously as we should. After all, they haven't happened yet, and somehow we always think we are going to be the ones who manage to beat the odds. We're good at fooling ourselves.Like (2)

Because sin is very attractive. Whether you can quit or not that is up to you and what you truly want. Good luck!
