Why is it that some people are more regular, than others?

I wonder, do I have an issue with my body because I don't seem to go for a shit regularly. I hear it's healthy to go once a day but sometimes I don't have the need to go for a few days, even then it's tiny!! Does that make me a little constipated?? I don't need to strain.. just not regular. Friends I know seems to visit the toilet once or twice a day....


So here are my questions...

1. How often do you go?

2. How i make my system more regular without drugs??



Here's more details regarding my diet.:
I eat three square meals a day, usually they consists of the following:

a bowl of Rice, lots of salad and various other vegetables dishes
and either fish or some other meat.
after meals I usually drink some Green Tea or pure fruit/veg juices and throughout the day I'll continue to drink various stuff inc Water, Tea, Coffee, various Juices and whatever else i fancy. But I don't drink soda-pop.. or anything gassy.

It depends on what you're eating. I used to go really irregular but didn't realize that it wasn't "normal" to go once every few days. I changed what I was eating and it made a huge difference.

Eat food with more fiber in it, but don't overdo it or it'll be really gross.

Sometimes I won't for a few days....hmmm. Eating certain greens might help you--google it! :o)

Well, lemme tell ya, I used to go...eh... "big" i'll say, at least once a day, always in the evening, but it's slowed down as of late, and it hasn't affected me in any way...when I drink a lot of water though I'm like niagra falls hah :D Just eat healthy foods in the right amounts, cut down on the sweets and snacks and your system should be just fine...we don't ALL have the same bathroom habits...if you want more precise info just google it, i'm sure someone has posted an article or two on the subject :)

The human body is designed to feel the urge to defecate about one-half hour after each meal. If you are eating three meals a day and in sufficient quantity and fiber, you should probably go at least once a day. It depends on how much and how often you eat, as well as the fiber and water content. The more fiber you eat and water you drink, the more often you will go. Some doctors mistakenly say "everyone is different" because they actually get very little training in nutrition. If you don't go every day at least once, either you have a medical problem or you are not eating right and drinking enough water. It can only be those two things, most often the latter.

I think drinking at least two glasses of water first thing in the morning not long after waking up and drinking it in proper amounts all day makes u regular enough.
Plus walking enough & fibrous foods with proper chewing help too.
See your doctor though.

Sometimes twice a day. You eat salads, so..........that's good roughage. You don't mention your age, which could have something to do with it. Maybe try a stool softener. Look into family history on this. Also, if you can afford it, try that stuff Jamie Lee does commercials for. ACTIVIA ! It's supposed to regulate your habits.
