It would be cheaper but not necessarily better.<br />
Easyjet have a fairly good reputation; avoid Ryanair if at all possible.<br />

I considered flying to NZ last year on Air Asia. The up-front fare looked cheaper, but by the time you had added in all the extras (for a long flight, you need to eat!) the fare was about the same as a full-service airline. So check very carefully before you book!

I would agree with you I check the small print before booking a flight abroud on a so called low-cost airline.
