Resolved Question

Why is it that,.....?

When it comes to birth control, that ALL of the responsibility is put on the Woman's shoulder. I think that both party's should be equally responsible. Why don't the Men volunteer to get snipped, for birth control's sake?

I am so with you on this one, I find it frustrating that the women have to be the ones sorting that stuff out. Come on guys, get the condoms and impress us with your initiative!!

I found the opposite is often true. That men take the blame for not wearing a condom. The truth of the matter is both parties involved are equally responsible.

I'm not sure, but I think sex ed programs should stress equal responsibility to both partners.

I also think they should include more about the emotional consequences of sex, and respecting your partner. I think the way it's been taught is too cold and mechanical, and focused only on the physical aspect. "Insert peg A into slot B..."

Unfortunately "the snip" for men can take months to be effective; all of the ***** left in his ducts have to be discharged over time before he's "safe". And of course, he may have to wait to get the operation; and then, he CAN'T have children until he has a reversal... So I suppose many men feel its too much hassle.

To me, both the man and the woman who have sex together are responsible for what happens as a result. They both know "what does it", and must take precautions against any unwanted pregnancy.

There are some men out there, not many , but some, who realizes the dangers of birth control ( pills, injections, tube ties )and what it can do to a woman's body and mind. I know a few men that would rather have a little snip that put their woman's health on the line.

There's a lot of men who are selfish and don't care enough to take their woman's health and well being into consideration.

A little snip can be reversed. Cervical cancer can kill.

i get a kick out of this little saying. 80 people get swine flu and everyone puts on a mask, millions have aids yet no one will wear a condom.

Cause its not their body-think the onus IS on us, unfortunately.
My man had double vasectomy years ago, before we met, and I have 1 child, do not want any more, so its an ideal contraception situation :).
