Why is my ex boyfriend controlling me when he has a girlfriend?

me and my ex boyfriend dated for a month and a half after we got engaged and then he started being controlling and jealous and he didnt trust me.

and we broke up couple weeks ago but he told me not to call him or email him again and i dont hes the one calling me texting me and emailing me and hes controlling me even when we arent dating and he has a girlfriend..

He cant just control you, you have to let him.

I personally think he likes the ego trip of having you on the back burner.

Also, its likely that he doesnt want you (atleast right now) but he wants to make sure no one else gets you in case he changes his mind.

I know this is going to sound talk showish, but stop letting him! The reason that you are still in contact with him is because you haven't let go. Even if he is the one contacting you, you haven't stopped him.
This happened to me, and it lasted for years, but I figured out that we would never make it to the friend stage (at least not for another ten years, lol). I cut all contact off and now I understand what the saying "beating a dead horse" really means.
I hope that you meet someone amazing who gives you love and freedom.

Because you're letting him. Change your email address, change your cell phone number and move on with your life.

Just do not respond to him. He will eventually get the hint and move on. I hope your next boyfriend is way nicer and understands relationships better as well as have respect for you.
