LOL....
I'm gonna guess on the sheep.... cuz blankets are out of wool and we use them on our beds, so that's the association to sheep, and you count them to put your mind in a relaxed state, to clear your mind of other things.... it's so mundane you will become bored and tired and fall asleep

sawing a log..... cuz some people snore LOUD and it sounds like a chain saw cutting a log.

zzzzz's.... I'm gonna guess cuz the letter Z is just not that popular of a letter and they had to do something with it!!!

denverguy	Posted Jul 9th, 2009 at 4:26PM Z is the last letter of the alphabet just as going to sleep is the last thing you do during the day. Counting sheep goes back to the days when farmers and shepherds would have to count their sheep at night before they went to sleep to make sure they were all there and safe. Ok I do not know if any of the above is true or not but it sounds good to me! Rated: +5Vote for this!
