Now that you've mentioned it he is SUPER boring. I don't know... :S. Maybe it's because his basically immortal apart from Kryptonite which not every average villain has.

Agree. He has few challenges to overcome, so where's the drama?Like (1)

Superman does have his interesting moments (being an *******), ever been to superdickery.com? It's a compilation of every time Superman was an *** in the comics for no specific reason.
His movies suck, and his unchanging great downfall also sucks.Like (1)

Too many powers . . Batman, Ironman, and Spiderman are more interesting because they have to use their intelligence more than Superman does. The other super heroes seem to live more troubled lives as well.

He's waaaay to predictable; that's usually why most directors don't even touch that story line

He can fly and he does wear tights. That kinda makes him a bit un-boring.

Read "Kingdom Come" by Alex Ross, Supes was real interesting in that one. I find him to be pretty interesting in general. I mean, it takes one heck of a guy to continually save people for nothing in return and not abuse his powers for personal gain.

Superman has undergone the same transformation that Wolverine did at Marvel. When Clark Kent first appeared on the scene, he was faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive, and able to leap tall buildings in a single bound. Then, he got a radio show-- where leaping over buildings was an auditory nightmare. Thus, he flew. And later writers in the comics made him stronger and stronger and stronger-- to the point he could move planets, and was as fast as the Flash.
Much like Wolverine had to take months to recover from the wounds he received when he fought Shingen Yashida in the Wolverine mini-series (which were tons of arrow shots and katana cuts), nowadays he heals nearly instantly.
Both are cases where the writers have been overwhelmed with FANBOYITIS. And both characters are less for it.
