Why are people so afraid of dark colours? It doesn't make any sense to me.

    Primitive human beings had many reasons, to fear the dark and celebrate the light. Light was safety and protection, darkness was danger and the unknown.

    Red is the color of blood and blood symbolizes life. How that could be evil?

    it isn't always but mostly because black is a dark shade so people affiliate it with darkness which some people see as evil. that is my guess
