To say there's no more human compassion towards each other is wrong! there are alot of good people out there trying to make a difference in this world, some of who iv'e talked with on this site. Yes there are people who don't care about anyone except themselves. One of the problems is the media, killing, riots, rapes, bombings, sell news papers. People who volunteer in soup kitchens, doctors nurses dentist" going to countrys giving their time to help people. And how about the men and women who go to disaster area's risking their lives to save others have we forgot? Yea we have a lot of people with compassion....
their is compassion in the world but the ones who need it the most are not recieving any of it. Take a look all over the planet and see all the poverty and famine also deseases. its apathy no one cares but only if they were on the record they say they care. there is an alot of real rich men in this world that will not spend a dine on feeding one village or one mouth. cold silence is what caused this problem all say well its not my fault I didnt cause it. well they are absolutly right but then do you this call them people a psrt of the human expirience? No ofcourse not they just want to fly with all the money they have and when they die they give it to thier next o kin. so no in the grand scemes of things love and compassion is replace with greed and apathy.
it does seem like there is no human compassion sometimes. i think that its contagious too, something to do with competitiveness. however i do truly believe that there is compassion and you may find it if you dont give up. and its contagious too!
was there ever? i guess the old ways are gone, everyone is too busy surfing the net, or loosing themselves in self examination. I recently watched a documentary by Robbins Barstow about his family camping in 48 states back in 1957 to 1961. It reminded me how it use to be and how families actually did stuff together. no internet, and tv wasn't a main focus of life. no fast food outlets every 100 yards, and no corporations jamming their wares down our throats. they say life was simpler, and i think it really was, we had less yet we had so much more.
human compassion = oxymoron
There are many reasons. First people care only themselves because society teaches you that you need to be competitive to be successful. With computer use people lack personal contact and touch that form an intergral part of the human experience.
