    There are an estimated 4,200 religions in existence in the world today, many claiming to be the sole holders of the truth. Truth is surely the most elastic substance that those 4,200 gods have created.

    I don't have a religion but I do have a PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP because I've proved Him true in my own life that God is my Father, Christ is my Savior (and my righteousness) and the Holy Spirit in my Helper & Guide. I've got some wonderful testimonies of the many trials I've gone through and how God has worked in each and every one of them. Scriptures have been proven true in my life. I was 30 years old when I started this relationship, and now I'm going on 63. I am not the same person - I'm a new creation in Christ. God has always been faithful to His Word (Bible). You learn to have a personal relationship with Him and to trust Him against all odds. I've never been happier in my life than I am right now in spite of my numerous health problems. I only wish I had been wise enough to have come to Him earlier in my life. I would have saved myself and others from a lot of heartache. But even before I came to Him - He had a plan to work it all together for my good and His Glory. Go to my blog and check out my life experiences. I can identify with practically anyone.

    I'm Christian but I believe in that thing called Religious Tolerance. Personally, I don't know what waits beyond that light. I just know that one way or another we'll all find out. There's no point in wasting time at war over religion. In the long run, do you think that the Higher Power would want any of us to fight over who is waiting? Long story short, whoever is right about religion be it the Catholics, Buddhists, Athiests.... whoever is right, I don't think the one they believe in would mind the other's error.

    I got a gun for the day
    my god told me to take take your pain away.
    my god told me that I was right
    My god told me to end your flight
    My god told me that you must die
    For my faith in a ghost the bullets will fly
    I've got a gun for today
    My Christian Jihad is justified away.;

    The true religious faith has four signs: 1) It is one, 2) It is holy, 3) It is universal, 4) It is apostolic. One means, anywhere you find it in this world it will teach the same teachings. Holy means, it makes you holy. It has produced many saints among its followers through the years. Apostolic means it brings to you intact what the first apostles taught the very first followers. Nothing added, nothing subtracted. And you can trace back who heads it now, in an unbroken line of succession, straight down to the first head among the first apostles. Again, the true religious faith is one, holy, universal, and apostolic.

    To quote the Stoic philosipher Maximus,"There is but one God,as it were,the creator of all things,that we worship by many different names."

    I didn't say my faith was true or yours was false. Are you saying I am religious? Are you religious? Do you believe that your faith is true and my faith is false?

    If so, I would say, that you are right, your religious faith is true and mine is false.....for you!! May your god judge you, if you need to be judged. My God knows me and my heart. I know I am judged by my Father too!

    God bless you....:-)

    No one is true. All contain some truth, however small.
