Why people always forget God's words?

Because of a lot of reasons....arrogance...we think we can do it ourself...

ignorance....some people just don't know any better, yet.....

they've bought into the devil's lie....and choose to not believe....

some people think they have all the time in the world, to serve God when they get older, after they have all their fun......but, we have no guarantees, as far as how long we'll be on this planet.....

many people are caught up in worldly things...sex, drugs, material things...climbing the corporate ladder....to where they leave little or no time in their day, for God or for His Word.....

Wrong! Things go wrong when we do what he says instead of using our brains to make decisions for ourselves. People forget God's words because they are too intelligent to put such a high importance on them as to actually remember.

People don't forget, they just don't care.

There are no actual words of god since god is imaginary I think that people know this on some level and don't take the supposed words of god seriously

im almost scared to answer!all those negative answers,but most people arent bought up knowing the bible,it seems people want to put their trust in men rather than GOD,thats all well and good,but i believe you need to make an informed choice and to do that,you have to get to know the bible!!people just dont want to know,have to say to randombloke tho,how do you know the bible is a book full of fairytales,have you read it?x

Jesus had a good bead on it:"And this is the judgement, that the light is come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their deeds were evil. For everyone who does evil hates the light, and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed." (John 3:19-20)

Since God is supposed to be Infinite,then the the words of God would be Infinite and impossible to remember.

Because most people only lean on religion when it is convenient for them, and supportive of what it is they're doing at that current moment. What people need to realize is that going to church on sunday, doesn't make up for a monday-saturday of being a inconsiderate moron.
