Why should we obey the laws: laws of nature, laws of nation, laws od God?

I obey my own laws. I didn't see any sense in it either. I don't kill, cause I see no reason to. I don't steal, because I'm not hungry enough. Yeah, I've been hungry enough to steal. I fed myself, and I needed no more till next time. When I could work and get paid, I didn't steal. I bought what I needed. When I had no money, I stole to make the rent, and to feed myself. I'd be a liar to say drugs didn't play thier part.

laws of nature: we have to obey our bodily functions...we have to survive as a species (reproduce)...we have to ingest other living things to live (plants..animals)

laws of a nation: i don't like the idea of jail

laws of "GOD": that's the only one we have the choice in so we DON'T have to obey it

I'd say either I respect a law because it makes sense to me, and then I don't call this obedience but responsibility, or I'm too scared/lazy to go against something I disapprove of, in which case it has me thinking about ways to change that situation.
Human laws are meant to evolve, and in a democracy the people are the ones supposed to have them evolve.
As for nature, I'd say humans have always been trying to determine what is truly unavoidable and what they can change to improve their living conditons, this is called 'culture'.
God is a metaphor, it has no legal ground, although a lot of humans use it to frighten others into behaving as they wish. I won't abide by these arbitrary rules.

Simply put, we shouldn't.

disobey the law and go to jail, simple.

There are consequences for not obeying laws. Some of the laws have more immediate consequences than others (if you get caught).

On the other hand, I haven't properly kept the sabbath in years. If you are familiar with Judaism there is a long list of things not to do on this day. So I guess I could ask the same question.

if someone decides they want to kill you and your whole family, whomever that would be to you just because they can. then you just have to take it because there are no laws to stop them. get it
