Why shouldn't morbidly obese people who over eat and have bad diets pay more for health insurance?
Of course there are some exceptions but for the most part, in America, people are fat, sloppy, disgusting gluttons who can eat 24 hours a day in our culture of excess and instant gratification. Even the poorest Americans can afford to eat frequently - if not well - in this country.
Fat, unhealthy people who choose to eat fast food, processed foods, and other poisons passed off as nutritious diets should have to accept the responsibility when they get diabetes, heart disease, respiratory problems, strokes, arthritis and joint problems from dragging their big azzez around. THe cost for treating all of their self-inflicted ailments gets spread to the rest of us with health insurance - and it is not fair. I work to keep myself in shape and forgo the over indulgence in order to minimize my medical expenses and enhance my life. I should not have to pay for those who refuse to do likewise.
