well if you start HUGGING people while they're UP - EVENTUALLY w/ a lotta love you'll lose that 'KICK 'EM " instinct......best luck and LOTS of love.......
Cause when he gets back up he’s going to kick the loving crap out of you!
Because it's mean....and why would you want to if they're already having a bad day?!
I have learned over the years of abuse it's the safest way to kick a man and live...lol
you shouldn't kick anybody when down, it's like shooting a dead horse--just beyond stupid and makes no sense.
Because driving a truck over him can be more satisfying and create plausible deniability
Because you can kill them. True story. The main reason people can take physical force to the body without severe injury is more about bracing against it with certain parts of their bodies. This is why in a fight people who get punched in the head fall unconscious. Its not so much that they were bad but their body couldnt handle it. "On the ground" is usually the point where somebody cannot physically protect themselves because theyve fallen unconscious or are simply no longer capable of guarding off blows due to their injuries. A kick to the head or body is a lot more powerful than a punch, and the damage is again increased by the fact that the body has no where to go when someone's lying down (losing your balance is possibly one of the greatest unintentional defence mechanism)
The expression probably comes because of "karma" though. Humans have developed many "do as you would have others do to you" rules that are ingrained in the psyche of well socialised people. You wouldnt want somebody to kick you when your down. It's a "low blow", something that can cause great distress to a person or group of people. Dont kick a man while his down is pretty much saying when a person cant take anymore, leave them alone.
Because what comes around, goes around.
(Let's not forget; next time you're the man down, someone just might kick you back with full force.) ;-)
Karma, that action will bring about a bit of blindsided pain on the kicker.
It all depends on what he's likely to do if he gets back up. If he's really dangerous, keep kicking till he stays down.
Sadly, I speak from experience here...
Is this a rhetorical question?
because he might have a huge stick hidden up his trouser leg, when you kick him there are 2 outcomes:
1.You kick the stick and break your foot
2. He hits you with the stick when you aren't expecting it
Thats mean. I've heard of that before, and I wouldnt want it done to me.
Cause you're a human enough not to do that ..
but u still could be a man enough to do it ! ..
