Why sky blue?

It's to do with how the Earth's atmosphere refracts sunlight. The shorter frequencies of light (the blue end of the color spectrum) bounce around in the atmosphere a lot more, making the sky overhead appear blue. When you observe sunlight through the atmosphere at a different angle (such as at sunset) you begin to see the red end of the color spectrum.

earth is women
sky is men
blue is the color of truth and moderation.
it tells us how sky is very much truthful expressing its love towords earth.
still earth is not yet understanded it .but earth doesn't know that it is inside the sky

The size of paticulate matter in the atmosphere reflects the wave-length of light we call 'blue'. It's the same with Blue Jays (a common bird in the USA) they do not have blue pigment , thier feathers also reflect 'blue light' all other wave-lengths are absorbed.

I live near the ocean. My fancy always imagined that the sky is reflecting the water and vice versa but I bet the reality is more Oldgroupie's.
