    I'd love to have a drink and a good old chat but as always they've gone their way and I've gone mine. He doesn't want to talk to me now but he'll always be my bestie.

    People grow apart due to different circumstances, another in our little clique cheeked my dad once, cheek me fine but don't ever cheek my dad. I haven't spoken to him in over 10 years. I guess for myself the killer is if they don't respect your parents.

    They hurt you, you changed your views about them. You've lost trust and or interest despite the fact you may have resolved your issues.

    I know who my real friends are by who is still a part of my life. Many people from my past are long gone or have deserted me or cast me aside. Real friends stick with you no matter what.
