I am not an expert on world affairs, but I thought there is more love than racism in the world, just that racism makes the news. Perhaps some areas of the world experience a lot of racism, but I think overall love is still more abundant than racism. Am I wrong?

Peace inferrs no competition. Life is competition. We compete with other creatures to eat, have space and survive. We compete with each other for resources, mates, status and power.
Most of us colaborate with some other humans. Work together, add to society one way or another. Most band together along family lines, then with mates for new families. We often have our alligences by villiage, town , city state and country. Some ally along religion, some by language and some skin color.
Humans compete. Humans ally together to compete. Life is competition.
The only true peace is a world without any life at all. The only true peace is death.
Love is wonderful and something we strive for and appreciate. The less competition, the more room for love. Maybe one day we will attain this ideal.
Probably no time soon.
