Why was my question about the asterisks replacing curse words removed? was it because...?

Q&A Home   >  Community   >  EP

was it because i think the practice of changing peoples intended words is quite ''Talibanese'' in nature? Is "Taliban" an 'asteriskable' word? Are the asterisks used to get us used to being censored by big brother? ..one word at a time until we write in binary code?

is there a way to remove the asterisks? it's very strange - the censored words appear in the first part of the text you see when you search, then you click to read more and suddenly they're asterisked.

You might've put in a word that they flag. It's weird. They flag some words that are innocent and don't flag some that aren't innocent.
