Why, with all the advances we have made in the last century, are there still itchy tags on underwear?

Do people forget their own size and need daily reminder? Why is that damn tag there??

All of my underwear is tagless. The "tag" is printed on the cloth on the back. No itching for me!

Well, they gotta have sizes so when you purchase them you know what size you're buying!
cut them out! or better yet... turn them inside out and wear them that way!

i love this question!! but i'd like to know as well. they make tagless t-shirts for guys. and why do some thongs have more tag than material?? we don't need to cover the back!!

I hope they still don't sew them into infant clothing. The poor babies! I ripped all the tags off of my kids stuff.
