    So, he is not looking for her to be in the running, and she doesn't like that? Or is she just upset because he's looking for someone else? Either way, fast path to losing contact with a good friend if she pushes it. The widow/widower dating game is very strange sometimes ... some well meaning folks try to force fit another marriage right away, some try to put her/him up on the mantelpiece, preserved just the way they remember. Worse, some of us do it to ourselves.
