crying on the phone??? no one breaks up face to face anymore??

Emotions were running high. Breaking up, you try to stay unattached but the truth is there are SO many emotions. You'll miss them, of course. Change is coming, which is scary. You wonder what's best for the both of you, and there is stress to do it the right way. And it's sad that it has to come to that. Don't think too much on it.

Awwww. Maybe he had a deeper reason why he broke up with you and keeping it to himself.

Assuming that they were legitimate tears it could be because he's dealing with other incredible stress in his life that has nothing to do with you (or you have very little connection to it) but is nevertheless effecting his overall psyche. Breaking up with you was obviously difficult for him (I mean he didn't do it in person so he had some level of fear and apprehension about doing it) and crying could an implosion of a myriad of perceived troubles in his life and it was just a moment. He could also have untreated major depression and/or bipolar disorder. The feeling of guilt with you crying could have also consumed him and only added to his stress over what he was doing. Not trying to make excuses for this guy...just pointing out some possibilities to answer your question....

that's an anti-psychotic. It was probably used for a manic episode of bipolar disorder. If you talk to him in a year or so he'll probably be completely different

i'm assuming you are teenagers. if that's the case then it's a no-brainer. if you are adults then he either haz some serious issues or he still cares for you even if he doesn't want to be with you.
