Why would EP pull a legitimate question? Nothing shared, nothing learned...

I just tried to give a reasonable answer to a reasonable, but easily misunderstood, question only to find it gone by the time I hit the submit button. Some people called it racist, but there were legitimate reasons for the behavior in question, and, therefore, for the question itself. The early answers indicated that many people had reasonable observations to add, and I would have added some unique insight from my years in urban schools, but now the opportunity is lost because the question is no longer there.

So, all of us with our various opinions have even less opportunity to be challenged and learn. Nothing shared, nothing learned, at least about this topic, and resentments are left without another chance to be resolved.
